About Us
Learn more about the Public Revenue Education Council, our mission and vision, and the board members who help guide our work. Since 1951, PREC has worked to promote education and discussion around land value taxation and public revenue systems that support stronger communities and productive economies.

Mission
The Mission of the Public Revenue Education council is to disseminate information about the appropriation of public-related values as a community’s primary source of revenue, the means of eliminating artificial obstructions to the production of goods and services, and the distribution of the produce of labor and capital.
Vision
We envision communities where public revenue systems support economic opportunity, productive work, and shared prosperity by capturing community created land value rather than penalizing labor and responsible development
